Materials Handler - Acquisition Support

Become an essential member of our team, contributing to the processing of buyout merchandise from delivery to final handling. We are looking for someone who can facilitate clear communication between departments concerning acquisitions and engage in travel opportunities related to various projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Travel as needed to support acquisition projects.
Receive inbound shipments and prepare outbound supplies efficiently.
Utilize the buyout sorting process to determine the appropriate disposition of merchandise.
Effectively accumulate and stage buyout supplies.
Process buyout merchandise that requires reboxing or relabeling and assist vendor representatives with their responsibilities.
Manage merchandise inventory accurately using the buyout scanning process.
Maintain strong communication with management and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
Adhere to safety protocols while identifying and reporting unsafe practices or situations.
Provide training for new team members, ensuring thorough instruction and proper documentation.
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team goals.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
Basic computer skills.
Able to multitask and work effectively within a team.
Proficient in reading and matching numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.
Willingness to travel as required for projects.
Desired:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Advanced computer skills.
Previous experience or knowledge of automotive products.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish preferred).
